Britz Rentals - Mid-Range Vehicles of the THL Group
One of the best known middle-class rental companies
Britz Rentals offers vehicles with a maximum age of 5 years (calculated from the 1st day of rental) in New Zealand. In addition to Maui as a premium and Mighty as a budget provider, Britz Rentals is located in the middle-class of the THL Group. The vehicle fleet ranges from hitop campers and shower / toilet models to 4-6 berth motorhomes. Due to the large number of vehicles, models are often still available at short notice during the main season.
Due to the purchase of different vehicles, there are always differences between the individual vehicles within the fleets. For this reason, Britz Rentals does not guarantee the layout. However, all Britz vehicles have an automatic transmission and a diesel engine, which makes driving even more pleasant. All models with integrated shower and toilet are equipped with a diesel heater and they also have a solar system installed, which ensures additional charging of the living area battery.
At Britz, children are allowed to ride from the first moment and as long as it is possible in the respective vehicle. With some models it is also possible to take up to 2 bicycles with you. You have to be at least 21 years old to rent a Britz vehicle.
Considering gravel roads, the THL Group does not give clear information as to whether or not they may be passed or not. In the terms and conditions, the section in question is formulated quite vaguely, so that all intermediaries therefore go the safe way by presenting it on the website as not allowed. Fact is, however, that it remains a matter of interpretation.
