Chubby Camper by Travellers Autobarn - The Reliable Camper in New Zealand for Backpackers

The Chubby Camper is a simple camper for two people who mainly use their vehicle for driving and sleeping. It has no high roof, which means an interior height of 1.35 meters.
The middle part of the camper can be used as a living room with a table and comfortable benches or as a bed. There is enough storage space under the seats for the belongings of two people. In the evening, you can build a remarkably large and comfortable bed in just a few simple steps. At 2.30 m long, it is one of the largest beds on the camper market and is ideal for tall people! The camper can be darkened well with curtains, only the new LED lights then provide pleasant lighting inside if desired. The implementation of the bedroom is very well done!
The kitchen area is only fully accessible from the outside and is operated when the tailgate is open. The Chubby has a very simple kitchen, which consists of a portable gas cooker that can also be used mobile outside the camper. A small sink and a new 25 liter cool box, in which the food is kept cool with ice, complete the equipment. Pots, cutlery, dishes and tea towels as well as towels and bed linen are included in the living equipment, which can also be booked for a small additional charge ($ 45).
A toyota built between 2012 and 2016 the Chubby is still in a reliable age. Due to the completely renovated interior in 2019, the minicamper offers some modern gadgets such as the aforementioned LED lighting and USB ports. There is air conditioning in the spacious driver's cab so that it stays pleasantly cool while driving, even on hot summer days. Overall, a very successful implementation of a mini camp!
