If you want a modern Hitop for your vacation in New Zealand, the Kuga Campervan by Travellers Autobarn is the right choice. The Kuga Hitop Camper differs from the large mass of Hitops on offer. For one thing, the vehicle age is younger than for other comparable models. This makes it newer than most Hitop campers on the New Zealand market. The campers of the Toyota Hiace model are from 2009-2014, but all got a brand new interiors back in 2016 and 2018. The inside of the Kuga is accordingly chic, extremely functional and in very good condition. The Kuga has a gasoline engine and an automatic transmission. It is suitable for up to 3 people, including a child from the age of 4 years.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a 2-burner gas stove, a microwave (240V) and a sink. The Kuga is slightly higher on the inside compared to other Hitops. The kitchen is also higher, which makes cooking more pleasant for tall travelers. The refrigerator holds 57L and has a freezer compartment. The kitchen equipment as well as sleeping bags, sheets and towels are included in the living equipment. In addition, all lights are built with LED lamps, which puts less strain on the living area battery. There are also some USB sockets for charging smartphones, tablets, etc., which is just very practical, but is still rare for many other Hitop campers. The bed below (1.55 m x 1.90 m) is suitable for 2-3 people and an additional bed (1.40 m x 1.60 m) can be set up in the high roof for a small person or a child.
If the Porta Potti is booked, the TAB Kuga is self-contained and you can experience New Zealand even better and more independently. If you are looking for a reliable mid-range Hitop camper, the TAB Kuga is a very good pick with some extras that are particularly noticeable in the interior. We recommend the TAB Kuga to vacationers looking for an inexpensive and reliable option of the middle class and still want to enjoy a certain comfort.
