Euro Campers is always a good company to rent a camper from in New Zealand from. The German-run family business has established a very good reputation in the middle class and is now a more than attractive alternative to the large New Zealand providers. The company is smaller than its big and better known competitors. Above all, this means that getting in contact is easier and the care of individual customers is more personal. If minor problems occur during the trip, this can usually quickly lead to a satisfactory solution.
The fleet includes the very popular and comparatively spacious King Sleeper, an older Hitop camper and the brand new Sky Hitop camper from 2019, a sprinter with shower and toilet for two travelers and a last but not least a motorhome for up to 5 people. Hence, Euro Campers has interesting offers for every New Zealand traveler. However, we recommend the newer models, such as the Sky or the King Sleeper. After a few years in the rental industry, the motorhome, the Hitop and the Sprinter now belong to the lower middle class segment.
Most extras like camping table and chairs as well as child seats are included at no extra charge.
The Road User Charges (diesel tax) have to be paid at the end of the trip. There are three different levels of deductible for insurance.
