The Koru Star 4 Freedom by Wendekreisen was developed for independent camping with up to four adults. This vehicle is future-oriented and offers up to 4 berths in a very compact format.
All 4 Berth Freedom Motorhomes were built on a VW Crafter of the latest generation with a 130KW engine. In addition to a comfortable 8-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle offers a number of safety functions, such as cross wind compensation, autonomous emergency braking, collision warning aid and active 360 ° sensor side protection. The Crafter complies with the EU6 emissions standard and is extremely economical with needing 10 l diesel per 100 km.
The four-seat front configuration enables all passengers to sit together. The children sit particularly close to their parents while driving. The front seats can be rotated with minimal effort to create a seating area for lunch. The rear beds can remain set-up, which saves the daily assembly and dismantling of the beds.
The standard equipment includes a touchscreen with a reversing camera, a pull-out pantry, a complete bathroom, a 130-liter refrigerator, a large kitchen area, a 3-burner gas cooker with sink and plenty of storage space.
The Freedom models is equipped with a powerful MPPT-controlled 280 watt solar system. This also charges the house battery, which allows extended downtimes. Two house batteries with a total output of 2.88 kilowatt hours or 240 amp hours ensure a high storage capacity that is unparalleled in the rest of the industry.
The vehicle is equipped with USB and 12V power plugs to enable charging of electrical devices. The combination of efficient installations and LED lighting leads to good energy efficiency and enables longer camping without having to rely on external electricity.
The combination of a good solar system and sufficient electricity storage enables you to camp independently over a longer period of time. The water is heated by a gas-operated water heater if necessary.
In addition, a 2.2KW diesel parking heater is installed. This is connected directly to the tank and therefore no separate filling of gas bottles is necessary. The diesel auxiliary heater consumes an average of 300 ml of diesel per hour of heating.
